HVAC Install Assistant Position SummaryBullman Heating & Air is seeking a dependable and motivated HVAC Install Assistant to support our installation team in Asheville, NC. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start or grow a career in the HVAC trade. As an Install Assistant, you’ll work alongside experienced Lead Installers to help install residential HVAC systems while learning valuable technical skills in a hands-on environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist Lead Installers with the installation of residential HVAC systems, including heating, air conditioning, and ductwork
Load, unload, and transport equipment, tools, and materials to and from job sites
Prepare job sites and ensure work areas are clean, safe, and organized
Help with basic system setup, mounting equipment, and connecting components under supervision
Follow all safety guidelines, company policies, and installation procedures
Provide professional, courteous service to customers while on-site
Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles as needed
Support the installation team with additional tasks as assigned
QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED preferred
Previous HVAC, construction, or trade-related experience is a plus but not required
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn the HVAC trade
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in attics, crawlspaces, and outdoor environments
Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred
