Our client, a reputable independent workshop in Ashford, Kent, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their distinguished team. This role offers exposure to a variety of specialised projects, including the restoration and servicing of high-end and classic vehicles. The successful Vehicle Technician will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of models, from modern prestige cars to historic classics, within a supportive and innovative environment.

Duties
  • Conduct servicing, maintenance, and repairs across a broad range of vehicles, including luxury brands such as Mercedes, BMW, Bentley, and more
  • Fault diagnosis and electrical troubleshooting using advanced diagnostic equipment
  • Inspections for additional repairs, ensuring quality and adherence to manufacturer standards
  • Communicate findings effectively to customers and team members
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workshop environment
  • Work independently and collaboratively on challenging, specialised projects, including vehicle restoration and high-level diagnostics
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, with a broad skill set across multiple vehicle brands
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capabilities
  • Experience working with classic and prestige vehicles is highly desirable but not essential
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Professional attitude with pride in workmanship and attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt to challenging and interesting projects
  • Mercedes training or experience with Mercedes‑Benz vehicles is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
