Job Overview
Join a Prestigious Classic & Prestige Vehicle Workshop as a Vehicle Technician in Ashford, Kent. This role offers specialised projects and the opportunity to work on a diverse range of high‑end and classic vehicles, perfect for technicians eager to develop their skills on extraordinary motors.
Benefits- Competitive basic salary of £47,000
- Working hours:
Monday to Thursday, 08:30 - 17:00;
Friday, 08:30 - 16:30 - 22 days holiday plus pension scheme
- On‑site parking and dedicated ramps with flexibility
- Work on exclusive, fascinating vehicles, including classic Mercedes, American muscle cars, AC Cobras, Hummers, and more
- Use of advanced diagnostic tools and equipment, including 2 x 2‑post ramps, 2 x 4‑post ramps, and scissors lifts

- Conduct diagnostics, repair, and servicing on prestigious and vintage vehicles
- Use advanced diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and restorations on a variety of historic and high‑end vehicles
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail
- Collaborate with the team to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and vehicle care
- Keep accurate records of diagnostics and repairs for client transparency
- Proven experience as a diagnostic technician or vehicle technician with high‑end or specialist vehicles
- Knowledge of Mercedes‑Benz systems preferred; factory training or dealership experience desirable
- Strong diagnostic skills, familiarity with advanced tools and software
- Ability to work on a range of vehicles, from routine servicing to complex diagnostics and repairs
- Attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
- Additional experience with American muscle cars, classic restorations, or specialised diagnostics advantageous but not essential
- Long‑term experience in the automotive industry (30+ years) highly valued
