The Civil Estimator plays a critical role in supporting a small, dedicated team by accurately evaluating costs, preparing bids, and analyzing project requirements. Working closely with the Director of Operations, this position balances office responsibilities with site visits and leverages specialized estimating software to ensure precise and competitive project proposals. • Prepare detailed cost estimates and bids for civil projects
• Perform quantity takeoffs and project analyses from construction drawings
• Review project plans and coordinate with vendors for procurement details
• Manage budget considerations and perform risk assessments
• Generate clear and concise reports for internal and client use
• Communicate effectively with clients and project stakeholders
• Utilize specialized estimating software to enhance accuracy
• Conduct occasional site visits to support estimation accuracy

• Entry-level experience in civil estimating
• Familiarity with cost estimating and bid preparation processes
• Proficient in AutoCAD and interpreting construction drawings
• Basic project management skills
