Holds a valid Tennessee teaching license with relevant endorsements for services to children from preschool through sixth grade or a specialty area endorsement suitable for the position sought.

The teacher must work collaboratively with children and adults; effectively manage student behavior and follow directions; maintain the confidentiality rights of parents and children; promote child safety and healthy self-esteem; model proper grammar usage; communicate effectively; possess, utilize, and continue to develop teaching skills that result in expected student achievement. The teacher must be punctual and consistent in attendance. The teacher should dress in a professional manner.
