Description
- Provide nurse practitioner services on-site to inmates at QCHC’s facilities.
- Give appropriate medical orders to direct medical and nursing care provided by QCHC nursing staff at sites.
- Document all clinical encounters in the medical record
- Participate in the quality assurance, risk management, and staff education activities
- Coordinate and communicate with jail administration as necessary
- Participate in meetings with jail administration, Sheriffs, and/or other county officials as needed; work with off-site healthcare providers as necessary.

Job Requirements:
- Master's degree in Nursing required
- Must have current and valid CRNP
- Must have a current, unencumbered license in the state of practice
- 1-3 years of previous Nurse Practitioner experience preferred
- Experience working in corrections preferred
- Current BLS certification
