JOB SUMMARY

Manages all scheduling duties and inventory control responsibilities for Home Health. Also, generates service and referral reports for leader to review.

DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Overall performance rating of below indicated essential job duties:

  • Orders office supplies (chargeable and non-chargeable), monthly inventory report, enters daily supply charges and monitors charge batch, updates supply cost and enters new supplies, manages clinical staff supply boxes and nursing bag, gathers and distributes supplies daily, verifies authorizations for supplies, maintain supply boxes in HUB centers.
  • Assists in maintaining up to date employee files including car insurance, BLS certification, annual physicals, driver's license, phone numbers, etc. Notifies team members when items are near expiration.
  • Runs daily census and calculates daily points, hours worked and mileage to create the productivity spreadsheet.
  • Completes mileage report and bi‑weekly statsand submits to accounting.
  • Collects MAP
    245 monthly and submits annually. Performs pre‑certs on those patients.
  • Facilitates signatures for physician verbal orders to meet CoP requirements.
  • Performs quarterly lab audits.
  • Performs basic clerical duties such as answering the phone, and distributing the mail.
  • Tracks all equipment.
  • Prepares the on‑call schedule for nursing and administration and sends to appropriate teams.
EDUCATION/LICENSE/CERTIFICATION/OTHER REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum requirement:
    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Bachelor’s Degree or five years related experience
    • Advanced computer skills and must type at least 50 c/wpm
  • Preferred qualifications:
    • N/A
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
  • Works indoors in an office/clinic setting
  • The noise level is usually moderate
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Constantly required to maintain a stationary position behind a computer.
  • Frequently required to move about inside the department.
  • Constantly required to communicate telephonically and face to face with colleagues and customers.
  • Constantly required to operate a computer and telephone.
  • Constantly required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
  • Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
