- Greet and assist customers, both in-person and over the phone, with their automotive parts needs.
- Accurately identify and locate parts using catalogs, computer systems, and product knowledge.
- Process customer orders, including taking payments, arranging for delivery, or ensuring parts are ready for pickup.
- Maintain an organized and clean parts counter area.
- Assist with inventory management, including stocking shelves and conducting cycle counts.
- Build rapport with customers, ensuring a positive and helpful experience.
- Collaborate with service advisors and technicians to ensure timely availability of parts for repairs.
- Previous experience as a parts counterperson or in a similar automotive parts role.
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts and systems.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer proficiency for inventory and order management.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to help.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
