Construction Cleanup General Laborer - $17/hr

Work Environment: Commercial Remodel / Construction Site

We are hiring dependable Construction Cleanup General Laborers to assist with a large commercial remodeling project in Ashland, KY. This position will primarily involve keeping the construction area clean, organized, and safe while assisting the crew with general labor duties as needed.

• Clean up construction and remodeling areas throughout the workday

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and remove dust and debris

• Pick up and dispose of construction materials, trash, packaging, and other debris

• Carry materials and supplies to designated areas

• Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials

• Maintain clean walkways and work areas to help prevent safety hazards

• Perform basic general labor duties as directed by the site supervisor

• Follow all jobsite safety rules and instructions

• Complete other cleanup or labor tasks as needed throughout the project

• Must have reliable transportation to and from the jobsite

• Must be dependable and report to work on time

• Ability to perform physical labor for the duration of the shift

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and lift throughout the workday

• Must be comfortable working around an active construction/remodeling environment

• Ability to follow instructions and work well with supervisors and other crew members

• Must wear appropriate work clothing and closed-toe/work shoes

• Construction or general labor experience is helpful but not required

• Must be willing to help wherever needed and maintain a strong work ethic
