Position SummaryThe Access/Scheduling Center Representative serves as a primary point of contact for individuals calling Pathways and plays a key role in delivering excellent customer service. This position is responsible for answering and directing incoming calls, scheduling appointments, providing information and referrals, and supporting consumers, staff, and community partners. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, adaptable, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
Duties & Responsibilities- Answer incoming calls through the switchboard system and redirect calls to appropriate employees or departments
- Schedule appointments and assist individuals seeking services through Pathways
- Provide information, referrals, and guidance regarding Pathways programs and community resources
- Deliver excellent customer service to consumers, staff, administration, service providers, and community partners
- Maintain familiarity with all Pathways services and programs across all ten counties
- Adhere to protocol exceptions and organizational procedures for all service areas
- Utilize computer systems and electronic records accurately and efficiently
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions
- Comply with all Pathways policies and procedures
- Perform additional administrative duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Administrative or customer service experience preferred
- Professional telephone and communication skills
- Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and Avatar
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative
- Flexible and adaptable in a changing work environment
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Working knowledge of Pathways policies, procedures, services, and programs preferred
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality required
- Individuals calling published Pathways phone numbers
- Consumers seeking initial appointments or services
- Community partners, service providers, and the general public seeking information or assistance
