Job Description
Licensed landscape architect contributing to all project phases from conceptual design through construction administration. Prepares detailed drawings, plans and models of landscape and site features, site-civil elements, and topographical relief maps of project features, such as roadways, trails, and site plans. May lead small projects or tasks on larger projects and serve as part of a multidisciplinary team on medium to large‑scale projects.
Typically possesses 5+ years of experience and a working knowledge of appropriate plant palettes, grading and drainage techniques, site‑civil layout, ADA‑accessibility standards, and related regulations. Writes reports and specifications covering landscape, site‑civil, and land planning matters. May be assisted by other Landscape Designers, Land Planners, Landscape Architects, and technicians. Responsible for projects, phases, and tasks of revenue‑producing projects.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years of experience in landscape architecture
- Proficiency in plant palettes, grading and drainage techniques, site-civil layout, and ADA accessibility standards
- Ability to produce detailed drawings, plans, models, and topographical relief maps
- Experience writing reports and specifications for landscape, site-civil, and land planning matters
- Capability to lead small projects or tasks and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
