Palm Health Resources is hiring an experienced BE/BC Interventional Radiologist to provide Locums Coverage at our facility in Kentucky. Locum Tenens Interventional Radiology Kentucky

Coverage Model: 2 weeks out of every 3 weeks

Hours: 810 hours/day

Rotation Structure

• Week 1: Call week (7 days, primary IR coverage)
• Week 2: Backup / Outpatient procedures (Monday Friday)
• Week 3: Off
• Seeking 12 locum IR physicians to rotate long-term

Clinical Scope

Must be comfortable with high-acuity vascular and neuro cases, including:

• Stroke thrombectomy
• Pulmonary embolism interventions
• TIPS
• Embolizations
• IVC filters
• Dialysis access
• Ports, central lines
• Biopsies, drains, nephrostomies
• Cryoablation

Volume & Workflow

• Primary IR averages 15 cases/day
• Secondary IR averages 10 cases/day
• Average 5 call-outs/week (mostly weekends)
• Most cases: 7:30 AM 4:30 PM
• After-hours and weekend cases primarily during call week

Facilities & Support

• 4 IR suites (including 1 biplane) + CT
• Dedicated IR nursing and 4 advanced-certified IR techs
• 3 APPs rotating (consults & follow-ups)
• Anesthesia support available
• Vascular, neuro, and surgical backup onsite
• Large oncology presence and active stroke program

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• KY license required, OH license preferred
• Must hold IR and DR privileges (IR-focused role)
• Credentialing: 68 weeks
