Education Requirement: BA/BS Degree from an accredited college or university
The Rape Victim Services Educator is responsible for implementing primary prevention programming throughout Kentucky schools. This role delivers the Green Dot Program in high school and college settings and facilitates the It’s My Space curriculum in middle schools. The Educator plays a key role in providing prevention education, increasing awareness, and promoting safe environments for students.
Duties & ResponsibilitiesImplement and facilitate the Green Dot Program in high schools and colleges
Deliver the It’s My Space prevention program in middle schools
Provide education and awareness on rape and sexual assault prevention
Engage students in prevention-focused discussions and activities
Maintain program documentation and reporting as required
Completion of 40 hours of mandated training in rape and sexual assault
Completion of 8 hours of annual continuing education on rape and sexual abuse issues
Strong presentation and communication skills
Ability to engage youth and young adults in educational settings
Commitment to prevention and trauma-informed practices
