Instructor, Social Work/Facilitator

This position will be located at the Ashland regional campus in Ashland, KY.

The department of Sociology, Social Work & Criminology at Morehead State University is accepting applications for a full-time position as an Instructor, Social Work/Facilitator. The position is located at the MSU@ Ashland campus. The anticipated start date is August 10, 2026. Morehead State University (main campus) is located in Morehead, KY, a designated Kentucky Trail Town, nestled in the Daniel Boone National Forest, in close proximity to Cave Run Lake.

Responsibilities:

• Instructs in assigned discipline or related field.
• Facilitator responsibilities:
  Administers all functions for the regional campus Social Work program recruitment, including, but not limited to, registration, counseling, and programing.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in social work (MSW) with two years of post-MSW practice experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Terminal degree and teaching experience.

Working Conditions
- Instructor will teach in a typical classroom environment or an internet based environment. Travel to a Regional Campus or off-site location may be required. This is a 10-month position.
