The Technical Service Engineer will support all activities of the Long Products - Services USA group, reporting to Manager – Long Products Services and working independently.

• Provide advisory services and support to customers.
• Use hand tools for dismantling, setup, measurements and analysis of guide systems.
• Maintain design criteria established by Danieli design engineers.
• Discuss equipment changes with Danieli management before suggestions.
• Control the work site to assure safety and achieve objectives.
• Identify drawing levels and work within Danieli Morgårdshammar drawing system.
• Analyze drawings and data to resolve customer issues.
• Use MS Office (Excel, Word, Project, Publisher, etc.) for assignments and record keeping.
• Evaluate site information, develop drawings and data, and maintain records.
• Obtain customer sign‑offs, submit timesheet, expenses and reports within 3 business days.

• Solid technical knowledge and experience.
• Ability to solve technical issues with minimum direction.
• Experience managing multiple activities independently.
• Compliance with OSHA safety standards.
• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or related field preferred (not required).

• Effective communication of technical issues to customers.
• Interpersonal communication across all levels of organization.
• Excellent problem‑solving and conflict resolution skills.

• Must be able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, carry, grasp, feel, talk, speak over PA system, and lift 25 lbs.
• Work under inside/outside environmental conditions, noise, extreme heat/cold, close proximity to moving parts, hot surfaces, pinch points, sparks, sharp edges, high pressure air, oxygen and gas lines.
• Pass a pre‑employment drug screen and criminal background check.
