Responsibilities- Live our purpose by helping manage and improve patient health through safe and appropriate dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices.
- Oversee pharmacy team during bench shifts, strengthening performance through effective coaching and consistent follow‑up.
- Support safe and accurate prescription fulfillment, following pharmacy workflow procedures and safety guardrails.
- Contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and genuine care, collaborating with the patient’s healthcare team, and proactively resolving insurance or medication issues.
- Offer and deliver immunizations, identifying, engaging, and supporting Pharmacy Technicians to learn to immunize.
- Manage pharmacy inventory, coaching the team on best practices with a focus on protecting cold chain products.
- Conduct new Technician and Pharmacist onboarding, ensuring trainees complete required training and licensure.
- Ensure pharmacy operations comply with state Board of Pharmacy regulations, escalating concerns as needed.
- Partner with the Store Manager to maintain a healthy talent pipeline of cross‑trained colleagues, ensuring timely completion of required training.
- Oversee Staff Pharmacists and District Support Pharmacists, managing performance through observation, feedback, and annual reviews.
- Maintain flexibility for scheduling and business needs, supporting a safe, inclusive, and engaging team dynamic.
- Review business reporting for operational insights and develop action plans.
- Establish a culture of safety, empowerment, and inclusion, encouraging feedback and taking relevant action.
- Maintain relevant clinical and technical skills, actively expanding knowledge to support patients.
- Support access to care and improve patient outcomes through pharmacist‑delivered clinical care such as testing and prescribing services where permissible.
- Understand and comply with all relevant federal and state laws and CVS Health policies, ensuring patient safety, controlled substance dispensing, privacy, and a safe workplace.
- Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
- Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
- Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.
- 1–2 years of experience as a Pharmacist.
- Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
- Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.

- Confirm prescription information and label accuracy to ensure patient safety.
