Duties

Help This position is located in the UNICOR Furniture Factory at a federal correctional facility. UNICOR is a government corporation which employs inmates in manufacturing and producing a variety of goods and services for sale to other government agencies. A primary purpose of this position is to train and supervise inmates in the manufacturing of plastic laminate and wood furniture and other products of various styles and designs.

Along with all other correctional institution employees, incumbent is charged with responsibility for maintaining security of the institution. The staff correctional responsibilities precede all others required by this position and is performed on a regular and recurring basis.
