Provides total patient care in accordance with physician’s orders and individual patient needs, conforming to recognized standards of nursing practice. The RN must be able to float between Medical‑Surgical (MS) and Telemetry units.

• Assesses patients, conducts screenings, and documents using standard scales as required.
• Prioritizes and documents patient problems based on assessed needs in collaboration with the patient, family, and health care team.
• Documents changes in patient condition and the effectiveness of care/intervention.
• Utilizes organization‑wide safe medication practices, including the five rights of medication administration, barcode scanning, and other medication safety processes specific to the unit/department.
• Knows actions, usual dosage, indications, and side effects of medications administered.
