Overview
Position Summary... What you’ll do includes leading and developing teams by teaching, training, listening to associates, touring stores, and providing feedback. You will communicate and collaborate with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. You will introduce and lead company change efforts, provide clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions, and communicate business objectives to teams effectively.
You will model exceptional customer service standards by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model and supporting customer service initiatives, including community programs, to ensure customer needs and issues are resolved. You will develop action plans to correct deficiencies and provide process improvement leadership for a high-quality customer experience.
You will drive financial performance and sales for the designated store area by reviewing P&L statements, assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses, and ensuring these align with sales. You will monitor merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operations, and implement action plans to mitigate shrink and achieve profit goals. You will supervise and develop hourly associates through hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, and recognizing performance, fostering a belonging mindset, and recruiting qualified associates to meet staffing needs and growth goals.
Responsibilities- Coordinate and oversee job-related activities by building relationships with stakeholders and supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs.
- Identify and communicate goals and objectives, build accountability, measure progress, and address improvement opportunities.
- Promote continuous learning and adaptability within the team.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and ethics, supporting the Open Door Policy and applying these in business processes.
- Model respectful leadership, foster a culture of belonging, and create opportunities for associates to thrive.

- Serve customers by applying EDLP/EDLC business models, using data-driven decisions, and balancing short- and long-term priorities.
- Drive continuous improvements and adopt new technologies and skills; support others through change.
- Minimum Qualifications:
2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. - Facilities selling firearms may require successful completion of CBC and Firearms Training; facilities selling only ammunition may require a state Certificate of Eligibility.
- Associates must attend and complete all required trainings (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).
- Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership via Live Better U and Bellevue University; experience supervising 5+ direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.

The annual salary range is $65,000.00 – $, with additional compensation through bonuses and other programs. This position may require state-specific considerations and may be subject to legal differential requirements where applicable.
