Staff Accountant

Location: Ashland, MA (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

Salary: $70,000 - $80,000

A growing manufacturing company, is looking for a Staff Accountant to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to expand their experience in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with exposure to month-end close, financial reporting, cost accounting, and global operations.

• Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, and intercompany transactions
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and support the month-end close process
• Maintain fixed asset and CIP schedules, including depreciation
• Support domestic and international accounting activities
• Prepare intercompany reconciliations and financial reporting schedules
• Assist with variance analysis, audit support, and GAAP compliance
• Partner cross-functionally to improve financial reporting and accounting processes

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3–5 years of accounting experience
• Experience with month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and fixed assets
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP
• Advanced Excel skills
• ERP experience (JD Edwards a plus)
• Manufacturing experience preferred, but not required
• CPA or CPA-track candidates are encouraged to apply
