We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing daily cost and general ledger accounting activities, supporting the month-end closing process, and assisting in maintaining accurate financial records.

This role is ideal for someone looking to further develop their accounting skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

• Prepare and post monthly journal entries, including accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and intercompany transactions.
• Perform monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and investigate reconciling items.
• Assist in performing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Maintain and update fixed asset and CIP schedules and depreciation calculations.
• Reconcile bank statements, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
• Support accounting activities for global domestic and international entities.
• Prepare and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Assist in spending and variance analysis.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate financial information.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit purposes.
• Preparation of audit schedules and support external auditors during the audit process.
• Any other tasks and ad hoc requests as assigned by manager.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and company accounting policies.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance.
• 3-5 years of experience in accounting or related financial roles; manufacturing industry experience is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in fixed asset accounting preferred.
• Understanding of U.S. GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
• Proficiency in ERP software JD Edwards is preferred.
• Hands‑on experience in Advanced Microsoft Excel is required.
• Experience coordinating with external auditors is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
