Montessori Teacher Kindergarten

Pincushion Hill Montessori School is a warm, nurturing, and authentic Montessori environment serving children ages 18 months through 6 years. We are dedicated to fostering independence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning.

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Kindergarten Teacher to lead our third-year (5–6 years) classroom. The ideal candidate is committed to Montessori philosophy, brings creativity and patience to the classroom, and values collaboration within a supportive school community.

• Lead a mixed-age Montessori kindergarten classroom
• Prepare and maintain a structured, engaging learning environment
• Support each child’s academic, social, and emotional development
• Observe and assess student progress
• Communicate effectively with families and staff
• Collaborate with colleagues to support school programming

• Montessori certification (AMS, AMI, or equivalent) preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Experience working with children ages 5–6
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
