Medical Collections Specialist

• Base Pay $21.00 - $24.00 / Hour

Looking for Medical Collections Specialist to work in a fast paced office in Ashland. Collections experience preferred. Must have customer service skills and computer skills.

Hours: M - Fr 7:30 - 4:00 (can be flexible, 8am-4:30pm)

• Follow all departmental policies and procedures
• Collecting past due balances via phone and written correspondence
• Respond to customer inquiries promptly and with excellent customer service
• Ability to maintain confidential information
• Ability to provide attention to detail and prioritize work
• Ability to collaborate with others to arrive at a conclusion using compromise, persuasion, rational
• Ability to make sound and timely decisions
• Ability to work independently with little supervision
• Skill of developing and maintaining positive working relationships with our patients and co-workers
• Must possess good customer service and telephone skills
• Maintain acceptable call quality and meet deadlines, as determined by the Manager
• Make appropriate notations to patients accounts in billing collection system
• Daily follow-up on unpaid patient balances

• Employees who work 24 hours or more a week are Benefit Eligible
• Health Insurance: 90% of premium paid by CRMA for fulltime staff, prorated for part-time.
• 11 paid holidays/yr. 17 vacation/sick days/yr in addition. Prorated for part-time.
