JESUS CHRIST MARANATHA GLOBAL MINISTRIES INC is seeking applicants for Church Development Expert (U.S. and Eastern Africa) role.
Job duties include:- Act as principal advisor on institutional strengthening to Jesus Christ Maranatha Global Ministries Inc’ (J.C. Maranatha) executive leadership, its churches’ pastoral and eldership teams, and leaders of church-funded projects in the United States and Eastern Africa region
- Help conduct organizational development reviews for the organization’s evangelistic, community development and humanitarian projects, propose and make approved adjustments to promote operational efficiency and effectiveness
- Conduct capacity and needs assessments for inter-church and inter-organization coordination arrangements initiated by J.C. Maranatha, its churches, affiliates and partners
- Develop and integrate tools for monitoring and reporting on the community development initiatives of the organization, its churches, and other types of Christian-based projects
- Lead teams to conduct field implementation reviews and develop the church and project analysis and progress reports for J.C. Maranatha’s executive leadership team
- Train staff in project management including how to implement the approved projects in accordance with J.C. Maranatha approved guidelines to ensure evangelistic and humanitarian program quality
- Support J.C. Maranatha’s executive leadership team in developing and rolling out Ministry tools to develop capacity of Christian converts in their secular careers
Requires Bachelor’s degree in Church Management;
Project Management;
Christian Leadership and Management;
Business Administration;
Pastoral Planning and Church Management;
Nonprofit Management; or similar;
Requires 84 months experience in an organizational development, capacity development and assessment professional in either a religious or secular setting or both.
Foreign Language skills required:
Swahili.

Travel details:
Twice a year travel to churches and relevant projects in Swahili-speaking countries in Africa such as Kenya and Tanzania to conduct field implementation reviews and document progress of projects.
The position is currently being offered at the prevailing wage of $ per year.
