Registered Nurse; RN - OR - Operating Room

Position Summary

Tenet Massachusetts is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for operating room positions at multiple facilities, including Worcester, Framingham, and Natick. The RN will provide direct clinical patient care, coordinate and integrate patient care per the nursing process, supervise staff, and support the Chief Nursing Officer to ensure high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care.

Location:

Ashland, Massachusetts (operating rooms across Tenet facilities).

Shift: 12‑hour days, 36 hours per week. Ongoing staff position.

Sign‑On Bonus:
Up to $7,500 for experienced RN.

• Provide high‑quality, safe, cost‑effective total nursing care to all patients.
• Assume responsibility for assessing, planning, and implementing direct clinical care on a per‑shift basis.
• Direct care according to established safety standards, risk management, quality improvement, and infection control.
• Coordinate and plan patient care within prescribed medical regimes, administer medications safely and timely per hospital policy.
• Perform all HICS responsibilities, assignments, tasks, and roles as directed during emergencies or disasters.
• Know and respond to the hospital’s emergency codes, adhering to policies and procedures.

• Required:
  
  Graduation from an accredited nursing school.
• Preferred:
  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing.
• Required:
  
  Current license or registration to practice in the state; AHA BLS and, if applicable, ACLS, PALS, and/or NRP certifications.
