Job Overview

As a Field Merchandiser, you'll work independently to showcase your organization and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and be the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations when needed.

SALARY AND SCHEDULE DETAILS
  • Your starting hourly pay rate will be $15.00 to $17.00 depending on your skills and experience.
  • Eligible Employees receive annual pay increases.
  • This is a Part-Time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
  • Average weekly hours for this position are between 10 – 15 hours per week.
  • Availability the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends, is required.
Your Role And Responsibilities Will Include
  • Day-to-day engagement:
    Using a mobile device provided by Hallmark, you restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark products, and communicate with supervisors, report time, provide feedback, and complete required surveys. Professional and courteous interaction with store employees, management, and customers is vital. You are responsible for the entire Hallmark product display at your assigned stores.
  • Holiday support:
    Leading up to and following holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, you may work additional days and extended hours. You may be required to work on the holiday itself, including weekends.
  • Department Resets:
    Occasionally you may join a team to install Hallmark fixtures, relocate card departments, and reset sections. You will be notified two weeks in advance for remodel assignments, which may include evenings or weekend work.
  • One Team Vision:
    You are part of a network of merchandisers who support each other in their territories.
Physical Requirements

This is a physically demanding job that requires a high level of energy and urgency. You will work on the selling floor and in back stockrooms, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying cartons, merchandise, and fixtures up to 30 pounds most days and up to 50 pounds occasionally. You will kneel, squat, walk, stand, and may need to climb stairs and step ladders.

Qualifications
  • You are at least 18 years of age.
  • You can read, write, and understand English.
  • You can lift and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • You can operate a digital hand‑held device for documents and information.
  • You have access to Wi‑Fi and the internet.
  • You have reliable transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
