DM is hiring an Office Manager to be the organized, friendly hub of our custom remodeling business.
Catalog and store materials, fixtures, and hardware — Identify incoming materials, log them in inventory, and put them away in the correct storage area so crews can find what they need quickly.
This role splits time between the office and our materials storage area, with driving to local job sites as needed.
DM Custom Remodeling is hiring a full-time Office Manager in Ashland, OH to be the organized, friendly hub of our home renovation business — answering calls, keeping our CRM and books current, and helping to ensure operations run smoothly. $18–$22/hr based on experience, Mon–Fri 8–5. We’ll train you on the rest.

- Answer and log inbound calls — Greet every caller professionally, capture the details of each call, and route calls and messages to the right person so nothing falls through the cracks.
- Deliver great customer service — Help homeowners with questions, scheduling, and follow-ups, and represent DM Custom Remodeling with a positive, solutions-first attitude in every interaction.
- Keep our CRM current — Enter and maintain client, project, and contact information so the whole team is working from accurate records.
- Reconcile purchase orders — Check incoming deliveries against their purchase orders, confirm quantities and item numbers, and flag shortages, damage, or discrepancies for follow-up.
- Keep the office running — Handle day-to-day administrative tasks such as filing, mail, supplies, and correspondence.
- Recording transactions: Logging all money coming in (income) and going out (expenses).
- Categorizing: Assigning each entry to specific accounts like assets, liabilities, or equity.
- Reconciling: Comparing the books against bank statements to catch errors.
- Managing documents: Saving receipts, invoices, and bills securely
- Basic computer competency — comfortable with email, web-based software, and standard office programs
- Fluency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer service skills and a professional, friendly phone manner
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- A working, fully charged cell phone available during the workday (a monthly company allowance is provided)
- Willingness to learn — we’ll train you to identify, catalog, and store materials, fixtures, and hardware
- Experience working in a CRM
- Knowledge of the permitting process
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- $18 – $22 per hour
