Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians for full-time, ongoing locum tenens coverage in Ashland, Ohio.

Schedule

• 24-hour shifts only
• 24/7 physician coverage
• No additional call requirement

Practice Environment

• ~8,000 annual ED visits
• ~22 patients per day
• 8 treatment rooms + 1 resuscitation room
• Freestanding Emergency Department
• CT, X-ray, ultrasound and laboratory services onsite
• Stabilize and transfer when higher-level care is required
• Epic EMR

Clinical Responsibilities

• Broad-spectrum Emergency Medicine
• Evaluation and management of acute presentations
• Stabilization and resuscitation
• Emergency procedures within physician competency
• Diagnostic evaluation and clinical decision-making
• Patient disposition and transfers when appropriate

Candidate Requirements

• MD or DO
• ACGME/AOA-accredited residency in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Surgery
• Board Certified or Board Eligible through an applicable ABMS/AOA-recognized board
• Active, unrestricted Ohio medical license
• Active DEA
• ATLS required
• FM/IM physicians require ACLS + ATLS
• PALS required for non-EM boarded/eligible physicians
