Paraprofessional II-Transportation Parapro-Kids Link

Overview

Position: Paraprofessional II (Bus Paraprofessional-Special Assignment)

Schedule: Monday–Friday 8 hour/day, 190 days

This position is a one-year, non-renew contract for the school year beginning August 17, 2026.

Route: Kids Link, Streetsboro, OH

• Must have completed at least two years of study at an institution of higher learning, OR hold an associate s degree, OR have passed the Teacher Parapro praxis exam.
• Must possess experience working with children with multiple and behavioral disabilities.
• Some heavy lifting required. Must complete CPI and Safety & Violence Training within the first 60 days of accepting position.
• Must obtain an Educational Aide Permit with ESEA Qualifications through ODE prior to the first day of employment.

• Position requires the ability to work with special needs students.
• Physical ability to handle wheel chairs and other equipment related to special needs students.
• The students family may elect to stop their student attending school at any given time during this school year. This would void the contract.
