Certification:
Intervention Specialist and Transition to Work (or the ability to get one)

Qualifications:

• Appropriate licensure/certification through the Ohio Department of Education.
• Strong organizational, communication, human relations, instructional, classroom management, team and public relations/community skills.
• A sincere interest and commitment to work with students, parents, staff, business, community organizations and associate district schools.

Duties:

• Teach high school students skills and knowledge of on the job training.
• Work closely with the immediate supervisor, advisory committee and academic teachers to coordinate instruction and to prepare students for successful completion of the arts and communications program.
• Teach and manage labs for on the job training.
• Plan, direct and evaluate the instructional process to best meet the needs of students.

Contract:

contract - 183 contracted days.

Salary:
Appropriate placement on  teachers' salary schedule based on certification/licensure, education/degree and experience.
