English Instructor

English Instructor (Full-Time) for the  School Year

The successful candidate shall demonstrate strong organizational, communication, human relations, classroom management, team, public relations/community and instructional skills. Applicants should have a sincere interest in and a commitment to work with students, parents, staff, businesses, community organizations and associate district schools. The instructor will teach various levels of English classes including, but not limited to, English 10-12, Speech, Creative Writing, Short Story and Epic Novel.

Applicants should have a Provisional License, Professional License, Permanent Certificate, Provisional Certification, or a Professional Certificate in Integrated English to teach the English courses listed above.

The English Instructor will work closely with the other English teachers to develop, maintain and promote the school's English program. The English instructor will plan, direct and evaluate English instruction to meet the needs of junior and senior students in career-technical programs. The instructor will also plan, direct and evaluate the English curricula to meet the state of Ohio's academic content standards and assist with senior.

full-time contract - 183 contracted days. Contract to begin Thursday, August 13, 2026.

Appropriate placement on  teachers' salary schedule based on certification, education/degree and experience.
