Responsibilities:

• Oversee the Respiratory Care Department, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and best practices in patient care

• Develop and implement effective strategies to improve departmental efficiency, quality, and patient satisfaction

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to educate patients and families on respiratory care procedures and techniques

• Recruit, train, and mentor respiratory therapy staff to ensure exceptional patient care and high-quality outcomes

• Conduct quality improvement initiatives to drive departmental growth and excellence

• Manage departmental budget, inventory, and supplies

• Participate in facility-wide committees and initiatives to promote a culture of excellence and patient-centered care

Requirements:

• Current Respiratory Therapist certification (RRT) and licensure in the state of Ohio

• Proven leadership and management skills, with ability to motivate and inspire team members

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
