** Summary
* * Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in the fabrication and assembly of fasteners; ensures workers are following safety guidelines; keeps production and expense (KPI’s); controls Preventative Maintenance Program; and utilizes the 80/20 toolbox and continuous improvements by performing the following duties.
** Essential Duties and Responsibilities
** include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
* Studies production schedules and aligns worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment.
* Interprets and enforces company policies to workers. Understands, promotes, and enforces Safety policies and procedures.
* Communicates manpower needs and assist in onboarding full time and temporary employees.
* Recommends measures to improve production methods, processes, equipment performance, and quality of product.
* Analyzes and resolves work problems and assists workers in solving work problems.
* Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.  Conducts Shop Talk addressing shift goals.
* Maintains time and production records.
* Understands and conducts quality inspection requirements to ensure Atlas standards are being achieved and adhered to.
** Supervisory Responsibilities
** Directly supervises employees in the U.S. Plant. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.  Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints; resolving problems and running machines when needed.  Plus continually works to improve Supervisory skills.
