Pay Rate: $21.25
The Bag Machine Operator will learn the Liquibox production positions such as basic machine operation and quality testing, leading into machine operation for career advancement and productivity. The essential function is operating and maintaining the bag lines to safety, quality, and productivity standards.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities- Responsible for scrap, efficiency, and product quality.
- Assist in setting up and operating bag machines and supporting equipment according to product specifications and schedules.
- Receive training for routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting to make repairs as directed.
- Supply raw materials to the production floor, pack finished goods, and lift boxes of materials to load machines.
- Ensure quality standards are upheld and report suspect or defective product for destruction or hold for review.
- Fill in and relieve for other production floor positions as assigned.
- Pushing and pulling rolls using operation of hoist to load on machine.
- Assist in the responsibility for printing and supplying correct parts label.
- Make tape splices at the bag machine packing station.
- Receive training on process and material workflow to aid in supply of all raw materials, packaging materials, and supplies from the warehouse to machine.
- Other responsibilities and projects as assigned.
- Education: High School Diploma.
- Experience: Experience in manufacturing preferred.

Skills:
Ability to read measuring tapes and product specifications with mechanical aptitude. - Equipment & Machinery: Pallet jacks, machine hoists.
