Position Summary:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Nested Router Operator

CNC Nested Router operator is responsible for the overall maintenance, use and efficiency of the CNC Nested Router to manufacture parts for cabinets. Operator will have knowledge and expertise to manage the efficiency of products moving through the router and will be responsible for increased production and decreased waste. The operator will program the CNC Router, build parts library using software and enter cut lists into software to create custom parts.

In addition, they will order materials and special orders.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Skills, Abilities and Competencies Associate must have strong computer skills including Microsoft Suite of Products and the ability to learn our proprietary software. Knowledge of industry software programs the CNC Router
• Overall Maintenance of the CNC Router manage the efficiency of products moving through the CNC Router.
• Working knowledge of basic drafting, the ability to read and interpret basic drawings in addition to having neat handwriting and the ability to learn basic drawing skills to produce legible drawings. Must have good analytical skills, ability to measure and do math calculations.
• Understanding of CAD like applications is a plus.
• Must possess effective interpersonal skills to operate and communicate effectively within a team environment. Ability to set priorities, plan and manage time to meet deadlines for production.
