** Summary
* * Operate and maintain machinery equipped with compressed-air spray nozzles and robots to coat products with paint, cure/bake product, and dump product into bags by performing the following duties,
** Essential Duties and Responsibilities
** include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
* Pour premixed paint into reservoir for painting and clean paint reservoir after lot is complete.
* Mix paint to formula or customer specified request.
* Place paint racks onto conveyor or onto transfer table that carries them into machine.
* Mix paints with thinner solution according to formula.
* Monitor robots and quality-inspect robot performance.
* Remove fasteners from the conveyor belt; package and palletize finished product.
* Operate all machine computers.
* Set up pumps, hoses, and spray guns.
* Understand the complete painting process.
* Perform and document daily/preventive maintenance per schedule (cleaning, inspection, lubrication, filter/line checks, and basic adjustments) to ensure safe operation, consistent product quality, and optimal equipment uptime; report abnormal conditions and coordinate repairs as needed.
* Problem-solve by tracking process steps from start to finish.
* Manage and organize spare parts for machine.
* Manual operation of oven.
* Serve as a backup for other paint processes (manual spray painter, dumper, manual paint mixer) and perform other duties as needed.
