Production Supervisor

Overview

At Pentair, we are committed to sustainable water solutions. We are seeking a Production Supervisor to join our Ashland, OH team to plan and organize procurement across Business Units, ensuring on-time delivery and capacity optimization.

• Oversee personnel operating production machines.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Assist in determining labor requirements based on the production plan.
• Implement continuous process improvement initiatives in safety, quality, productivity, and cost.
• Hold daily and weekly departmental meetings (safety, housekeeping, etc.).
• Maintain accurate records related to production, attendance, quality, and employees.
• Interpret and enforce work rules and regulations, including safety, OSHA, and EPA policies.
• Perform daily audits on safety, quality, and productivity metrics.
• Ensure employees meet established standards.
• Partner with HR to minimize employee relations issues and handle first‑step grievances.
• Collaborate with shift supervisors at shift end to review daily activities and ensure smooth handoff.

• 2–3 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Proven record of supervising and scheduling numerous hourly employees in a union environment.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing concepts.
• Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work 2:30pm–11:30pm with flexibility.

The anticipated annualized base pay range is $61,200–$113,600 per year. Actual compensation will be commensurate with experience, education, and other factors.
