Job SummaryThe Flavor Operator, under general supervision, is responsible for the safe, efficient, and continuous operation of seasoning coverage on product.
Responsibilities include:
- Monitor and replenish seasoning and/or toppings on overhead to ensure proper coverage on product.
- Plan ahead for product/seasoning changeovers to efficiently switch between product items.
- Keep tumblers, scales, and work areas clean; wipe equipment down in accordance with the allergen program.
- Prepare tumblers and machines for re‑work of product.
- Immediately report equipment problems to the maintenance team.
- Operate machinery if qualified.
- Practice and adhere to safety and hygiene guidelines for housekeeping and personal protection.
- Store supplies in designated areas.
- Keep work area aisles and exits clear and free from obstruction; remove trash from the work area floor.
- Follow instructions for safe lifting and carrying of various sizes, shapes, and weights; identify and report equipment issues; report all job‑related injuries to supervision.
- Work with QA to ensure product is in specification.
- Participate in sensory testing.
- Mandatory overtime may be required.
- Perform other duties as required.
High School Diploma or GED and/or 1‑year production experience in a manufacturing environment required.
