* Summary:

** Assists in operation of machine to cut out parts of specified size and shape from closure material by performing the following duties.
** Essential Duties and Responsibilities
** include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
* Learns all processes in the closure department.
* Rotates processes when needed to keep production moving.
* Works in a safe and efficient manner.
* Applies labels accurately and neatly.
* Maintains quality of product and packaging.
* Assists in verifying parts with standard drawing to verify conformance to specifications before cutting.
* Consistently follows and promotes 5s standards to ensure work area is clean and safe to work in.

** Education and/or Experience
** Less than high school education; or up to six months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
** Language Skills
** Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence.
** Mathematical Skills
** Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.  Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
** Reasoning Ability
** Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.  Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
** Computer Skills
** Basic computer experience required.

** Must pass a physical exam to meet job requirements. Must pass a pre-hire drug screen.
