Position Overview
Flavor Operator – Processing Department
Location:
Ashland, OH
Level: HP02
Shift: Not specified – hours may vary based on coverage and production schedule.

- Operate seasoning coverage equipment under general supervision to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous operation.
- Monitor and replenish seasoning and/or toppings on overhead lines; maintain proper coverage on all product batches.
- Plan ahead for product/seasoning changeovers to efficiently switch between product items.
- Keep tumblers, scales, and work areas clean; wipe equipment down in line with the allergen program.
- Prepare machines for product re‑work and report any equipment issues immediately to maintenance.
- Operate machinery when qualified and safe to do so.
- Follow safety and hygiene guidelines for housekeeping and personal protection.
- Store supplies in designated areas; keep aisles and exits clear; remove trash from work surfaces.
- Follow safe lifting, carrying, and handling instructions for various weights and sizes.
- Identify and report equipment or injury issues to supervisors; report all job‑related injuries.
- Work with QA to verify product meets specifications; participate in sensory testing.
- Perform additional duties as required by the production team.
High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum of one year of production experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
