Packer
We are looking for a Packer to help assemble and pack products into trays and cartons for shipping. The role involves manual packing, quality inspections, and maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Scheduling may vary based on coverage and production needs, especially during holidays.
Job Summary- Prepare cardboard cartons and trays for packing by folding, taping, sorting, and labeling.
- Conduct visual inspections of finished product packaging for integrity and correct labeling.
- Fill cartons and displays according to packaging specifications, ensuring proper seals and labels.
- Stack cartons on pallets or skids, using pallet jack to move goods up to 300 lbs when applicable.
- Clear loose product from the turntable and dispose of defective items, sweeping the floor as needed.
- Assist with product rework and follow plant expectations.
- Adhere to safety and hygiene guidelines for housekeeping and personal protection.
- Follow 5S protocols and keep aisles and exits clear.
- Store packaging supplies in designated areas and remove trash from the work area floor.
- Perform sanitation tasks such as equipment washes and wipeouts as directed.
- Prepare line for startup and assist with equipment changeovers when applicable.
- Possibly operate tray-making and/or stapling machines.
- Report issues to Machine Operators, Group Leader, or Supervisor as appropriate.
- May perform other duties as required.
- Mandatory overtime may be required.
High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 year of production experience in a manufacturing environment.
