Job Summary

We are seeking a detail‑oriented
Production Coordinator
,
Production Planning Specialist
, or
Manufacturing Administrative Coordinator to support production operations in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for production scheduling support, job packet creation, production order management, SAP data tracking, performance reporting, and safety metrics administration.

The ideal candidate has experience working with manufacturing systems, production documentation, SAP, Microsoft Excel, and cross‑functional production teams. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to operational efficiency, production planning, continuous improvement initiatives, and workplace safety programs.

Key Responsibilities

Production Planning & Coordination

  • Create, organize, and distribute production job packets for manufacturing press operations.
  • Review production orders for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with production requirements.
  • Ensure production schedules and orders are balanced to optimize available labor and production hours.
  • Support daily manufacturing operations by coordinating documentation and production workflow activities.

Data Management & Reporting

  • Utilize
    SAP ERP systems to monitor production performance, track yields, and analyze operational metrics.
  • Generate and maintain production reports, dashboards, and trend analyses.
  • Use
    Microsoft Excel to create charts, spreadsheets, and performance‑tracking reports.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production efficiency, output, and quality.

Safety & Compliance

  • Track employee safety engagement activities and participation metrics.
  • Maintain and update monthly safety performance charts and reports.
  • Support workplace safety initiatives and continuous improvement programs.
  • Ensure accurate recordkeeping and compliance with company procedures.
Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.

Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing, production coordination, production planning, operations support, administrative support, or a related field.
  • Experience working in a production, manufacturing, industrial, or plant environment preferred.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including:
    • Microsoft Excel
    • Microsoft Word
    • Microsoft Windows operating systems
  • Ability to create spreadsheets, reports, charts, and production tracking documents.
  • Experience with ERP systems and production management software.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience using
    SAP ERP or related enterprise resource planning systems.
  • Experience tracking production metrics, manufacturing KPIs, yields, and performance data.
  • Knowledge of production scheduling, manufacturing processes, and workflow coordination.
