Pay Rate

$21.00 per hour

Shift
  • Monday through Friday – typically 8-hour shift but there could be 5-10 hours of overtime per week depending on production need.
  • Start Time:
    Flexible start between 5:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m.

What’s a typical day as Panel Fabrication Technician? You’ll be:
  • Fabricating standard, repeatable, and custom panels to established specifications and quality standards
  • Performing hands-on fabrication work—including measuring, laying out, drilling, tapping, and punching/cutting holes in metal, polycarbonate, fiberglass, and other enclosure materials
  • Accurately measuring and laying out hole locations and fabrication points using tape measures and other tools
  • Inspecting kitted parts for accuracy and quality prior to fabrication
  • Utilizing established processes, tooling, and equipment while working to minimize scrap
  • Operating CNC equipment to fabricate polycarbonate and fiberglass enclosures
  • Navigating and referencing work instructions, layout drawings, and schematics to complete assigned work
  • Verifying fabricated materials meet design specifications and required quality standards
  • Identifying and reporting discrepancies related to bills of material, inventory, drawings, materials, and finished products
  • Working with Engineering to address issues and improve designs, processes, and costs
  • Participating in quality improvement efforts as needed

This job might be an outstanding fit if you
  • Have the ability to accurately read and use a tape measure (critical requirement)
  • Possess strong fabrication experience and mechanical aptitude, with comfort in using basic hand and power tools
  • Are able to read and work from layout drawings, work instructions, and basic schematics (preferred, but open to those willing to learn)
  • Have previous experience in panel fabrication, CNC operation, machining, metal/enclosure fabrication, or similar hands-on manufacturing roles
  • Are experienced operating CNC equipment and using fabrication tools such as drills, taps, punches, and other hand or power tools
  • Have basic computer skills and are comfortable navigating computer-based systems (including ERP systems and electronic documentation)
