Our AMSU is comprised of 20 acute medical-surgical beds with mobile telemetry capabilities. We are soon progressing to incorporate Masimo monitoring devices that offer heart rate and SpO2 monitoring that will add high-quality technology monitoring for each patient. We care for Acute GI, Respiratory, TIA/Mild Stroke, Cardiovascular, Urology, Endocrinology, Wound, Hospice, and post-op patients that include observation, extended recovery and acute level of care.

Our patients are managed by our Hospitalist Team, Inpatient Pharmacy, SW/TCC, R/T, PT/OT/SLT, RNs, and PCNA/CAAs that work together and offer an inter-disciplinary approach to patient care.

Position Requirements

Provides safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients/families using the nursing process in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status. Dimensions are:

Education Requirements

Diploma RN, Associate or Bachelor's Degree of Nursing from an accredited program

License & Certification Requirements

An Ohio RN license is not required to be considered for this position. If selected to move forward, employment offers may be made contingent on candidate successfully obtaining RN license within time frame discussed at the time of offer acceptance.

Current BLS Provider Certification, issued by the American Heart Association, must be obtained during Nursing Orientation.

Preferred Qualifications

BSN preferred

Prior experience on a related unit or specialty in a practicum, internship or STNA/PCNA/NAII is preferred
