Travel Consultant – AAA East Central, Ashland, OH.

• Sells international and domestic travel packages, including cruises, land travel, air, car, and hotel reservations.
• Shares knowledge and expertise from personal travel experiences and educational study trips.
• Develops long‑standing relationships with members, builds referral and repeat business.
• Recommends tailored travel experiences that exceed member expectations.
• Cross‑sold relevant products such as AAA Member Rewards Credit Card and identified theft protection referrals.
• Participates in ongoing evaluations of sales, customer service, administrative, and operational proficiency to advance toward leadership roles.
• Supports team goals and maintains high quality service during peak travel periods.

• High school diploma (or equivalent) required.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive criminal background check and a routine urine drug screening.
• Minimum of 2 years of successful retail sales, banking, or leisure travel agency experience in a goal‑oriented environment.
• Availability to work most Saturdays and occasional evenings to meet sales targets.
• Computer savvy; proficient navigating multiple systems and web browsers, Microsoft Office, and capable of typing ≥ 30 words per minute.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Highly organized with a comfortable relationship with paperwork.
• Strong sales drive and ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
• Passion for travel and a desire to continuously learn and grow within the industry.
