The Department of Chemistry, Geology, and Physics at Ashland University ((Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). ) invites applications for a Lecturer of Physics, beginning August 18, 2025. A Master of Science in Physics is required, Ph.D. preferred, with the area of specialization. Ashland University does not have a Physics major/minor but offers Physics coursework for majors in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Forensic Chemistry, Science Education, Industrial Engineering, Biology, Environmental Science, and Pre-Health programs.
The teaching load is twelve (12) hours per semester (Fall and Spring) and will focus on courses for non-Physics majors. Opportunities to develop an undergraduate-focused research program are available.
