Maintenance Technician – JLL

JLL is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure optimal facility operations and tenant satisfaction across assigned properties. The Technician will support building performance through comprehensive inspection, maintenance, and repair activities on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment and systems.

This position requires working both independently and in collaboration with Engineers to maintain safe, functional, and well‑operating facilities that meet JLL's high standards of service excellence.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems, and equipment
• Conduct facility inspections and report on conditions impacting client occupancy and operations
• Handle general interior maintenance tasks including hanging pictures, installing keyboard trays, repairing office furniture, and fixing doors
• Replace lighting, ballasts, clean HVAC coils, and change filters and belts
• Move office furniture, machinery, equipment and materials as requested
• Update work order status in real‑time using CMMS systems like Maximo
• Complete hazard assessments and maintain compliance with safety procedures and local codes
• Lift up to 80 lbs and climb up to 20 ft ladders (frequent climbing, bending, kneeling, lifting, and driving)
• Work in various indoor and outdoor environments

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• At least 2 years of applicable experience in general building repair and maintenance, basic plumbing, and basic electrical inspection, maintenance and repair activities
• EPA Universal refrigerant license
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to complete required safety trainings and comply with safety procedures

• 3rd Party Certification in building trades
• Coursework in building trades
• Experience with CMMS systems (Maximo preferred)
• Knowledge of State, County, or City building ordinances, codes, and laws
• Experience in commercial real estate or property management environments

Location:

Ashland, Ohio

Work Shift:

Monday to Friday, 6:30am–3:00pm or 8:30am–5:00pm
