Distribution Center Associate 2nd shift Job Ashland area,Ohio USA,Warehouse

Overview

Now Hiring with Time Staffing in Ashland, OH. Prefer applicants with warehouse/tow motor experience. Temp-to-hire opportunity on 2nd shift (3pm–11pm) with possible OT. Pay: $16.65 per hour.

Responsibilities

Operate different types of tow motors to pick orders according to customer requests.
Use a computer to input and pull orders.
Stack boxes properly on pallets.
Assist with wrapping and quality as needed.

Ensure availability of required components and supplies.

Verify part numbers, order numbers, batch numbers, purchase order numbers, and quantities to ensure inventory accuracy for applicable assignments.

Process paperwork accurately according to established cGMP and Standard Operating Procedures.

Load and unload trucks and racks.

Use RF inventory software to process transfer orders.

Receive materials against purchase orders.

Locate and retrieve materials from storage locations.

Operate material handling equipment safely.

Perform housekeeping duties.

Locate inventory.

Follow established safety procedures and report any safety concerns immediately.

Perform visual quality checks on inventory.

Assist with orientation and training of new temporary employees.

Serve as a backup to other members of the team.

Process "on hold" or scrap materials according to procedure.

Perform or assist with cycle count activity as needed.

Operate powered industrial equipment in accordance with SOPs and training.

Perform battery changes for department PIT equipment.

Basic Skills

Must operate PIT equipment and maintain current certification as stated within the GOJO PIT policy.
Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
Ability to listen and follow directions for department processes.
Repetitive lifting requirement up to 55 pounds.
Basic computer skills; data entry and retrieval.
Hand/eye coordination to perform major tasks of the position.
Ability to use calculator.

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Must comply with criminal background requirements.
The ability to lift 30–50 lbs. on a regular basis.
