We’re seeking enthusiastic, customer‑focused team members to help create a warm and inclusive audience experience across our venues. If you enjoy working with the public, being part of an energetic team, and supporting meaningful storytelling, we’d love to meet you.
The Role You’ll PlayAs an Usher, you’ll help patrons navigate performances safely and comfortably while supporting the smooth operation of OSF theatres. You’ll provide excellent customer service, assist with seating, communicate theatre policies, and help maintain a welcoming environment for all guests.
What You’ll Do- Patron Support: Assist guests with seating, programs, directions, and general questions.
- Safety & Theatre Operations: Monitor audiences, support emergency procedures, and help protect the performance environment.
- Customer Service: Communicate clearly and professionally with patrons and team members in a calm, welcoming manner.

Participate in trainings and contribute to an inclusive, respectful workplace culture.
- Have customer service experience and enjoy working with people.
- Communicate clearly and remain calm in busy environments.
- Are dependable, professional, and team‑oriented.
- Can work flexible hours, including afternoons, evenings, weekends, and on‑call shifts.
Ability to stand for long periods, bend, lift up to 40 lbs, and move throughout theatre spaces.
Shifts range from 3–6 hours and include afternoons and evenings.
