We strive to make music lessons as accessible and affordable to as many people as possible because we believe the importance of music education is essential to making the world a better, happier place!
Taylor Robinson Music is hiring private music instructors, especially for Voice. We do not have a brick‑and‑mortar studio location in the Ashland, OR area, but we have students needing teachers ASAP! Lessons can occur in the students' homes; in your own home or your own studio/rehearsal space; or via webcam. Most students prefer in‑person lessons, so we need local instructors who can host students and/or are willing to travel to students in the Ashland, OR area.
Responsibilities- Teach private music lessons tailored to each student's needs.
- Develop and modify lesson plans and curriculum.
- Maintain a professional and organized schedule.
- Communicate regularly with our office and students.
- Travel as required to students' homes or other locations.
- Direct teaching experience with students of all ages.
- Formal music training: degree in music, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or previous teaching experience.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to travel within the Ashland, OR area.
- Commitment to safety: use masks, hygiene, and social distancing when required.
You are paid on an independent contractor basis between $20-$30 per hour depending on travel time, experience/education, and student retention rate. You have the freedom to set your own schedule, curriculum, and lesson plans. We handle advertising, marketing, SEO, and billing.
